Next step (well not literally, not YET anyway)

Well…I finally made it over to rehab at NYU’s Rusk. Moving onto the next stage of my long road to recovery. 50+ days in Bellevue hospital and now 4-6 weeks here at Rusk. I will get evaluated by physical and occupational therapists today and then I start up at the “gym”. Hope I don’t come off as a wimp! Not sure what it’s going to be like here, but I got real food for breakfast today..so that’s already a plus! Lots going on today so I’ll fill everyone in soon on what’s next!

  1. You a wimp? Ummm never!! We’ll be back to nearly passing out during Hot Yoga in no time! <3 sending stay strong vibes and the hopes for continuous good meals hehe love ya!

  2. Yay!! Finally. Glad to hear you are out and recovery is going well. New digs, better food, some exercise in physical therapy, all welcome changes I’m sure. We’re thinking about you and cheering for you…Keep on keepin on!

  3. Teena, you are an inspiration to me and probably everyone who reads your blog. On Sunday night I HAD to take more trash out to the cans. Mistake! I fell on ice and fractured bones near my elbow–luckily not my dominate arm and hand. Next week I will have 2 screws put in my elbow area. What a little thing compared to your struggles! You can tell Lisa. Take care! Ann and Dave Poltilove
